Detail 360 Gives Back: Preparing a Gulfstream for Pulling for Hope in Chesterfield, MO
Some detailing projects are about more than making something look clean. They're about using our skills to support something bigger.
Recently, the Detail 360 team had the opportunity to volunteer our time and detailing experience to help prepare a Gulfstream III for the 4th Annual Pulling for Hope fundraiser benefiting Wings of Hope in Chesterfield, Missouri.
For our team, this was a different kind of detailing project—and one we were proud to be part of.

Detail 360 and Wings of Hope
Wings of Hope is a humanitarian organization based in Chesterfield that uses aviation to help connect people with medical care and humanitarian support.
Its mission includes providing access to medical air transportation for people who need specialized care and supporting aviation partners serving communities around the world.
The Pulling for Hope fundraiser helps support that mission. According to Wings of Hope, the 2026 event challenges teams of 12 to pull a 25-ton Gulfstream III jet 60 feet across the taxiway. The event is free for spectators and includes food trucks, music, and family activities.
For Detail 360, being able to contribute our time and professional cleaning skills to a local organization doing this kind of work was an opportunity we were happy to take.
Detailing a Gulfstream Was a Different Kind of Project
At Detail 360, much of our work involves cars, trucks, SUVs, classics, specialty vehicles, and other vehicles that need professional cleaning and protection.
But this project gave our team the opportunity to work on something considerably larger.
The photos from the project show our team working around the aircraft's exterior, carefully cleaning areas that had accumulated dirt and buildup.
While the scale was different, the same mindset applied:
Pay attention to the surface. Use the right process. Take your time. Don't cut corners.
That's the approach we bring to every detailing project.
Whether we're working on a daily driver, a classic car, a truck, or a specialty vehicle, professional detailing is about more than simply making something look cleaner.
Professional Detailing Goes Beyond a Basic Wash
A professional detail addresses areas that a basic wash doesn't.
Depending on the vehicle and its condition, detailing can involve cleaning and treating:
- Exterior surfaces
- Wheels and tires
- Glass
- Trim
- Door jambs
- Interior surfaces
- Carpets and upholstery
- Hard-to-reach areas
- Engine bays
- Contaminated or heavily soiled surfaces
For example, Detail 360's full detailing service includes exterior decontamination, wheel cleaning, engine-bay degreasing, glass cleaning, interior steam cleaning, carpet treatment, and leather cleaning and conditioning.
That same attention to detail is what we brought to this community project.
Supporting a Local Cause Through Our Work
One of the things we value about detailing is that our work can be used in many different ways.
Sometimes we're helping someone prepare a vehicle for a sale.
Sometimes we're restoring the appearance of a vehicle that hasn't received professional care in years.
Sometimes we're protecting a vehicle that an owner has invested heavily in.
And sometimes, like with this Gulfstream project, we're simply using our skills to help support an organization in our community.
That's what made this project especially meaningful to our team.
Pulling for Hope 2026 in Chesterfield, Missouri
The 4th Annual Pulling for Hope takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wings of Hope headquarters near Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield.
Teams of 12 compete to pull the 25-ton Gulfstream III 60 feet across the taxiway. The event is designed as a family-friendly fundraiser, with free spectator admission, food trucks, music, and children's activities.
Detail 360 is scheduled to participate in the event as well.
According to the official 2026 schedule, Team Detail 360's pull is scheduled for 12:50 p.m.
So our involvement doesn't end with the detailing project. We're getting ready to put our own teamwork to the test.
Detail 360's Commitment to the Local Community
We believe being a local detailing company means being part of the community—not just doing business in it.
Projects like this give us an opportunity to work alongside local organizations, meet people from the community, and contribute something we're good at.
Whether we're detailing a customer's vehicle or volunteering our time for a community project, we approach the work with the same attention to detail.
We're grateful to Wings of Hope for trusting our team with this project and giving us the opportunity to be involved with Pulling for Hope.

More Than Detailing
The Gulfstream project was a reminder that detailing can be about more than appearance.

It's about taking pride in your work.

We're proud to have been part of the Pulling for Hope project with Wings of Hope, and we're looking forward to joining the community on October 3.
