Awards & Recognition

We never started Detail 360 for awards — but we are incredibly proud of how our team and community have been recognized.

Workplace Excellence Recognition – Our commitment to a positive, people-first work environment earned us the “Workplace Excellence Award” from the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, honoring the way our culture supports both our team and our community.

Small Business of the Year Finalist – The St. Charles Regional Chamber named Detail

360 a 2025 Small Business of the Year Finalist, recognizing our growth, community

involvement, and the “why” behind what we do.

Neighborhood Favorites & Best of Recognition – On platforms like Nextdoor and others, neighbors have repeatedly named Detail 360 a favorite local business — even highlighting us as a “Best in Show Magnet” for helping our customer win awards at car events and also praising our work for families, pet owners, and everyday drivers.

Workplace Culture – Team members consistently describe Detail 360 as a workplace culture that promotes from within, with in-house training, advancement opportunities, and a family feel.

These recognitions aren’t trophies on a shelf to us — they’re reminders that how we treat people matters as much as how we treat paint, glass, and upholstery.

Our History

Our story starts in a single bay behind a tint shop in 2017, with a simple belief: if we treated every vehicle like it was our own, the rest would take care of itself. Today, Detail 360 is a multi-location, award-winning auto and marine detailing company serving St. Charles County and beyond — but everything we do still comes back to that tiny bay, that belief, and the people who never stopped believing in us.

  • 2017 - One Bay, Big Vision

Detail 360 was born in 2017 in the back of a tint shop - one bay, a few tools, and a lot of sweat. There was no lobby, no fancy sign, and no marketing budget. Just a group of local car enthusiasts, determined to build a business where craftsmanship and character mattered more than anything else.

From day one, the standard was simple:

“We don’t let a vehicle leave until we’re happy with it.” It didn’t take long for that standard to catch on. Word spread through friends, family, and neighbors. People brought daily drivers, weekend toys, and work trucks, and kept sending their friends back with more. Within our first year, we had outgrown that single bay and leap into our first standalone facility - our own shop, our own keys, our own chance to prove we belonged.

  • 2019 - The Fire That Took Everything

In September 2019, everything changed. A fire ripped through our shop and destroyed nearly everything we had worked for - equipment, inventory, and the space that had become home for our small but growing team.

Overnight, the tools we’d carefully collected and the routines we’d built disappeared.

And then, as we were still reeling, the world shut down. Between the fire and the onset of COVID, our resources were slim and our options were even slimmer. There was no safety net, no big investor waiting in the wings. What we had was faith, grit, a few salvaged tools, and a community that refused to let us quit.

  • 2020–2021 -The Barn Years: Bootstrapping Our Comeback

With the shop gone, we moved into a small barn — not the kind of picturepicture-perfect perfect “industrial loft” you see in magazines, but it was a space we could afford that would let us keep serving picture-perfect “industrial loft” you see in magazines, but it was a space we could afford that would let us continue our customers.

Those barn years defined us. We bootstrapped everything, rebuilding our equipment one piece at a time, saying “yes” to the hard jobs so we could reinvest every dollar back into the business. Working on cars, trucks, boats, bikes, and RVs in all kinds of weather just to keep the

    doors open.

It was during this season that Detail 360 truly became more than a detailing shop. The people who showed up — team members, family, customers, neighbors — leaned in. They helped spread the word, stood by us when schedules slipped, and trusted us with their vehicles when it would’ve been easier to go somewhere else. We never forgot that.

  • 2022 – Owning Our Future

After years of grinding, saving, and saying “not yet” to a lot of things, 2022 was the year we finally said yes to a dream we’d carried since that first bay: owning our own building.

Buying our building in St. Peters gave Detail 360 something we hadn’t had since before the fire - a permanent home for our team and our customers. Owning our space meant we could: Invest heavily in infrastructure: lighting, climate control, and systems that protect vehicles year-round.

We built dedicated areas for auto, marine, RV, and motorcycle work, as our reputation

grew in each of those areas

Create a shop environment we were proud to invite the community into — not just as

customers, but as partners and friends. It also marked a shift from survival mode to growth mode. Instead of asking, “How do we make it through this month?” we started asking, “How do we build something that lasts for decades?”

  • 2023–2025 – Built With and For Our Community

As the business stabilized, we made a decision: if Detail 360 was going to grow, our community had to grow with us.

    That belief turned into action:

    - Investing in Local Businesses

    - Hosting Our Own Car & Bike Show

    - Supporting Charities & Young Entrepreneurs

  • 2025 - A Second Location and a Bigger Mission

By 2025, something became very clear: one location could no longer keep up with the demand from our community, dealer partners, and marine & RV clients. So we expanded into a second location, giving us: More bays and more specialized work areas, the ability to better serve everything from daily drivers and exotics to boats, RVs, powersports, antiques, and golf carts, room to grow the team and create clear pathways for leadership and advancement.

Today, Detail 360 operates from multiple locations in St. Charles County — with our flagship shop at 1050 S. Cloverleaf Drive and a second facility at 200 Iffrig Road — serving both retail customers and partners throughout the region.
