Detail 360 at the Diode Dynamics Open House 2026
Every year the Diode Dynamics Open House brings together some of the most passionate vehicle enthusiasts in the St. Peters area — and every year Detail 360 is proud to be part of it. This year's event was no different. Great turnout, great energy, and exactly the kind of crowd that reminds us why we do what we do.
Here is a full recap of our time at the 2026 Diode Dynamics Open House, what we had on display, and what visitors stopped to talk to us about most.
About the Diode Dynamics Open House
For anyone not familiar, Diode Dynamics is a performance lighting company based right here in St. Peters, Missouri. They are known for producing high-quality LED lighting technology for vehicles — everything from interior and exterior lighting upgrades to off-road and adventure builds. Their annual open house brings together vendors, brands, and enthusiasts from across the region for a day of builds, giveaways, and community.
This year's event featured a strong vendor lineup alongside Diode Dynamics themselves — including a Tackform giveaway worth $250, raffle entries, and a packed outdoor display that drew a steady crowd throughout the day.
Detail 360 at the Show
We set up our booth under the green canopy and brought everything we needed to represent what Detail 360 is about — professional detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction, and vehicle care that goes well beyond a standard wash.
On the table we had our full service brochures covering standard detailing, motorcycle detailing, recreational vehicle care, scooters, golf carts, and marine detailing — because Detail 360 works on far more than just cars and trucks, and events like this are a great opportunity to remind people of that.
We also brought a lineup of die-cast cars across the table — a small touch that always gets people stopping and talking. Sometimes the best conversations start with something unexpected.
The crowd that came through was genuinely engaged. These are vehicle enthusiasts who care about how their builds look and how their paint holds up — exactly the kind of people who understand why professional detailing and ceramic coating matter.
What People Asked Us Most
At every event we attend, the questions from visitors give us a clear picture of what the local vehicle community is thinking about. This year the conversations kept coming back to a few consistent themes:
Ceramic coating for daily drivers — a lot of people asked whether ceramic coating is practical for a vehicle that gets driven every day rather than kept as a show car. The answer is yes — in fact daily drivers benefit more from ceramic coating than garage queens do, because they are the ones actually dealing with road grime, UV exposure, and Missouri weather on a regular basis.
Detailing for non-standard vehicles — our brochures covering motorcycles, golf carts, marine, and recreational vehicles got a lot of attention. Many people did not realize we detail anything beyond cars and trucks, and several visitors mentioned they had a boat, ATV, or golf cart they had been looking for someone to properly detail.
Paint correction before ceramic coating — this came up repeatedly, especially from enthusiasts who had been researching ceramic coating online. People wanted to understand whether their paint needed correction first and what that process actually involves. We walked a lot of visitors through what paint correction does and how it differs from a standard polish.
How to maintain a ceramic coated vehicle — for people who already had coating on their vehicles, the question was about proper maintenance washing and what products are safe to use without degrading the coating over time.
Why We Show Up Every Year
Detail 360 has been part of the Diode Dynamics Open House for multiple years now, and we keep coming back for a simple reason — this event brings together exactly the kind of community we want to be part of.
Vehicle enthusiasts who show up to an event like this are not casual about their cars. They research products, they invest in their builds, and they care about the details. That is the same mindset that drives everything we do at Detail 360. Showing up at events like this is not just about marketing — it is about being present in a community that shares the same values around vehicles that we do.
We also genuinely appreciate what Diode Dynamics has built in St. Peters. A company that is serious about its product, serious about its community, and generous enough to host an open house that gives vendors and enthusiasts a real platform — that is worth showing up for every time.
As we said on our Facebook page after the event: great open house Diode Dynamics. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to be part of it every year.
