Greg's Dark Horse Mustang Gets the Full Summer-Ready Treatment

July 23, 2026

Some cars are built to turn heads. Greg's Dark Horse Mustang just needed a little help getting there — and our team was happy to deliver.

Greg brought his Mustang in for our ceramic coating special paired with window tint, aimed at helping the car beat the summer heat while giving the paint long-term protection. The result: a Mustang that's not only fully protected, but ready to turn heads wherever it goes.

The Project

This Dark Horse Mustang came in wearing a striking teal finish — the kind of color that deserves to be shown off, not dulled down by sun exposure, road grime, or UV damage over time. To keep it looking as sharp as the day it rolled off the lot, Greg opted for two of our most requested summer services together: ceramic coating and window tint.

Ceramic Coating

A ceramic coating gives the paint a durable, bonded layer of protection that helps guard against UV rays, environmental contaminants, and everyday wear, while also giving the finish that deep, glossy look that makes a color like this Mustang's teal really pop.

Window Tint

Pairing the coating with window tint tackles the other half of the summer equation — cutting down on interior heat buildup and UV exposure, so the cabin stays more comfortable and the interior stays protected during the hottest months of the year.

Together, the two services cover both the outside and the inside of the vehicle, which is exactly why we bundle them as a summer special for customers looking to protect their investment from every angle.

Great Work by Austin

This project was handled by Austin, one of our detailing team members, who brought the same level of care and precision to this Mustang that we bring to every vehicle that comes through our shop. From prepping the paint for coating to getting a clean, professional tint install, the final result speaks for itself — a Mustang that looks as good as it did the day it left the factory, now with protection built to last.

Great job, Austin, on an amazing project.

Why Ceramic Coating and Window Tint Make Sense Together

If you're a car owner thinking about protecting your vehicle heading into the warmer months, pairing ceramic coating with window tint is one of the most effective combinations we offer. Ceramic coating protects the exterior finish from the elements, while window tint protects the interior and keeps the cabin more comfortable in the heat. For a car like Greg's Mustang — a vehicle that's meant to be driven and enjoyed, not just parked and admired — that combination means less worry about sun damage and more time actually enjoying the ride.
